Tips to update the client.

As I am in web development it is very mandatory thing to send update every to client about the status of the project / work or task.

Whenever a client or customer sends email. Check what is his high priority of work for today first. Focus on this as a part of our work.

Three things need to check before you send update to a client or customer.

Warm which like Hi , Hello and greetings.

1. Completed Work.

What we have completed in today. It should be clear and mention url if required to make understand client. Make sure that high priority at the first place and tested it.

2. Clarification of any work.

Some time we need clarification on work so we can ask clarification before a day to start the work. This helps to avoid rework and save time instead of assuming it.

3. Pending Work.

You mention what are the works are need to completed so client can get idea how much is pending and he suspect when it will be get completed based on daily updates.

Ending with regards and Signature.

It is Human nature every one expect reply for their email. If you are not able to send update else at least client should know as you are working for their job.
